An incredible traverse that begins in "Pampa Linda" and finish in "Frías" Port, crossing the Valdivian Forest, returning by catamaran to Bariloche.
We start walking from Pampa Linda towards Ilón Lagoon, and after we rest, we can make a short walk to "La mirada del Doctor" (Doctor's Look). On the second day we will walk to the Agostino Rocca hut, from which, we have stunning views of Mount "Tronador" and "Frías" Lake.
The name “Paso de las Nubes” (Pass of Clouds) is due to its geographic location, as to be a low mountain pass, the clouds that coming from of Chile enter towards Frías river valley.
The third and last day has the advantage of being in decline, despite this, the pace is slow since it is a waterlogged area with many fallen trees that make it difficult to pass.
In this part, we enter the so-called Valdivian Forest, with unique flora species, such as "Alerces", "Ciprés de las Guaitecas", "Taique", among others.
When entering a lot of humidity from Chile, the trails have water and mud. We recommend good shoes and have a pair of flip flops and spare socks to change later.
The ship leaves us in "Pañuelo" Port, where we must descend. A car awaits us to take us to the hotel. We will conclude one of the most beautiful traverses in the area.
If you want to extend your journey, you can spend the night at the incredible Hotel Puerto Blest and do other treks such as the Paso de los Raulíes section, Lago Ortiz Basualdo and visit Cascada de Los Cántaros.
